    As part of our contract with the University of Oxford, we provide same day response to faults with any automatic door on site. This particular call out was automatic swing doors manufactured by Record and Horton.

    We deployed our yellow safety barriers to designate a safe working area and investigated the reported faults. It was apparent that both doors had been switched on when the manual locks were engaged.

    This was simple to rectify by carrying out a reset. Following this we trained all of the available staff on the procedure to follow and how to do a soft reset on the doors so that if this happened again, they could reset the doors themselves, saving time and money.
