Accessible Automatic Swing Door Adaption – Wallingford School, Oxfordshire

Following a DDA accessible audit by Oxfordshire County Council for Wallingford School in Oxfordshire, we automated existing aluminium entrance doors in various locations.

The aim was to provide easier access for all without the need to touch the door by means of remote activation fobs for wheelchair users who are attending the school.

This would mean that the doors were still to be used manually and only open automatically for the users who have a remote control.

The installation comprised of a Record DFA127 automatic swing operator which was installed above the door onto the transom.
