Automatic Swing Door Operator Upgrade At Forum Health Centre – Coventry

Following an obsolete swing operator failure, we were contacted to provide a solution as the existing operator did not provide access to the Forum Medical Centre in Coventry. We carried out a site survey with the customer to fully understand the requirements to allow us to provide a bespoke quotation.

The customer accepted and we arranged the installation to be carried out at the most convenient time and redirected people to use the rear entrance. The internal components were removed and replaced with Record DFA127 swing operators.

We also replaced the on-door safety sensors to ensure the completed installation had any risks eliminated and compliance with the current regulations. If a sensor detects a person or object will stop at a safe distance eliminating any risk of impact or crushing. The Automatic Door system was tested for all scenarios and interfaced with the fire alarm system.

Following setting up, commissioning and testing we handed over all documentation as all of our engineers are qualified and are part of the Doorsafe Register. During the hand over we also trained the staff on safe use of the door system and what to do in case of an emergency.
