Automatic Door Risk Assessment, Service and Safety Inspection – Narborough Parish Council, Leicestershire
BH Doors & Engineering Ltd carried out a comprehensive automatic door risk assessment, preventative maintenance service and safety inspection for Narborough Parish Council, Leicestershire.
The works involved a full assessment of the automatic door system to ensure compliance with current safety standards and best practice guidance. Our engineers completed a detailed inspection of all operational and safety-critical components, including sensors, activation devices, door operators, safety systems and closing forces.
As part of the visit, a planned maintenance service was undertaken to optimise performance, identify any signs of wear and reduce the risk of future breakdowns. All safety functions were tested to verify that the doors operated safely for staff, visitors and members of the public using the facility.
Following completion, a detailed report was provided outlining the condition of the system, any recommendations for remedial works and confirmation of the safety checks undertaken.
The project helped ensure the continued safe, reliable and compliant operation of the automatic entrance doors, supporting the Parish Council in maintaining accessible and secure public facilities.
