Automatic Door Repair – Frilford Golf Club in Oxfordshire

Problems:

• Customer found out that in a power failure the automatic folding door did not open.
• We responded the next day and found that the door was installed to fail secure as originally it was not on an escape route.

Solutions:

• We reprogrammed the operator to fail safe as it was now a designated escape route.
• Tested the battery pack and checked the year as they should be less than 5 years old or be replaced.
• Carried out a service and risk assessment.
• Demonstrated to the customer.
