Emergency Automatic Swing Door Repairs at Touchpoint in Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex

We were asked to attend a same day response emergency call out to Touchpoint Foodbank in Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex.

We deployed our yellow safety barriers to designate a safe working area and investigated the reported faults. It was apparent that the door had dropped causing the automatic swing operator to go into fault.

Also it was difficult to lock the door so the repair needed to be carried out immediately. As we carry common spare parts on our vans, it was possible to remove the door and replace the worn part within our agreed call out rate. We rehung the door, tested operation and reset the automatic operator.
