Automatic Swing Door Conversion – Wallace House Community Centre, Evesham
Following a DDA accessible audit by the Wallace House Community Centre in Evesham, we automated an existing pair of doors on the main entrance.
The aim was to provide easier access for all without the need to touch the door by means of integrating the access control system and remote activation push pads as people were finding it difficult to open the door manually.
The installation comprised of a Record DFA127 automatic swing operator which was installed above the door onto the transom.

The installation included external barriers colour matched to the doors and frame to designate the route to enter as persons could approach from the side.
Also, there are BEA 4safe on door safety sensors installed to both sides of the door to reduce the risk of the door opening or closing onto a person within the sweep area of the door.
On completion, the installation is subject to a risk Assessment Checklist as part of compliance to EN16005 and BS7036-0.
