Entrance Doors Oxford University

The aim for this project was to provide accessible entrance doors for the Department of Physiology, at Oxford University. The doors are generally used manually, but are push pad operated for persons that require assistance. The external doors are interfaced into the existing access control system and have integral electric locks for out of hours access.

Tasks included:

  • Removing the old, wooden doors which were a safety risk.
  • Fitting the new, glass entrance doors.
  • Fitting the push pad mechanism, for people who require assistance.
  • Carrying out safety checks to ensure the entrance doors were safe.
