BH Doors has always promoted local business over faceless national companies. Commercial doors are no exception, and with new commercial door training courses comes new opportunities for smaller firms to take on the bigger jobs, serving their local community and delivering excellence.
Co-founder and MD of BH Doors Limited, David Horne has taken on the task of research and development for automatic door service and installation courses alongside the ADIA (Automatic Door Installation Association)
Available to all members, sole traders and small to medium sized enterprises, the courses which are designed and in certain locations, delivered by David himself, aim to perfect the skills of commercial door engineering companies who are ready to grow their business and expand their client base – the David’s wanting to take on the Goliaths!
It’s win-win with Automatic Door Accreditation
With industry accreditation, smaller commercial door companies can become more competitive in the tender market for automatic, aluminium, glass and disabled access doors, as well as fire escape doors. And if local businesses can now consider the smaller, local companies in their tender process, they will make savings, increase engagement with their suppliers and be taking part in building the local economy.
So how did this all come about? How did David Horne become the new training research and course development manager for commercial door installers?
David has worked closely with the ADIA for some years, and as an active member, with an excellent company reputation for industry knowledge and customer service, MD Anne Saxby approached him to assist her in the mission of pushing the automatic door industry forward. Technical and marketing support comes from both Laura at the ADIA and the training manager Paul.
